There are all kinds of workouts you can do with a deck of cards. The images below feature one of my favorite workouts. I'm including both a beginner and intermediate workout. See below for videos of workout moves to accompany the beginner's workout.
Set your timers for 20-30 minutes. Repeat the following exercises in the order given - whatever number of card you turn over, that's how many reps you do. Card suit is irrelevant. King, Queen, Jack and Ace are equal to 12 repetitions. (Remember to always check with your physician before starting any kind of exercise program.)
Beginner Workout video descriptions are as follows:
- Modified Jumping Jack (remove the jump - just step out and in)
- Push-ups on the wall
- Bird Dogs
- Seated Leg Lift
- Step ups - Using stairs in your home or anything that has a little elevation to it.
- Bridges
- Tricep Dips on Chair - You can use a chair or a bench.
- Cross Punches
- Crunches
